In 2021, Leopard Controls was awarded two key contracts for the development of Equinix’s newest data centre, PE3, in Perth. The first contract, in partnership with Crossmuller, focused on the installation of the DCOS SCADA Monitoring system, enhancing operational oversight. The second contract with Envar involved two separable portions: the implementation of a front-of-house Distech Controls Direct Digital Control (DDC) operating system with a Niagara graphical interface, and the mechanical and electrical installation of the HVAC system.
Equinix’s state-of-the-art data centres in Perth are strategically positioned to leverage the Australia Singapore Cable, facilitating low-latency connectivity to Asia and serving as vital hubs for major businesses in finance, cloud computing, and network services. With a presence across six major Australian cities and over 220 data centres globally, Equinix’s robust infrastructure supports the digital operations of some of the world’s leading corporations, providing enhanced connectivity and access to critical markets.
