Karrinyup Shopping Centre

Leopard Controls was awarded the mechanical electrical and Building Management System (BMS) portion of the Karrinyup Shopping Centre redevelopment, a major $800 million project set to enhance this significant retail destination. The redevelopment, which began in November 2018, expanded the centre from approximately 60,000 sqm to 110,000 sqm, introducing a new two-floor fashion mall named “The Loop,” a fresh food marketplace, and an alfresco dining precinct with a 10-screen Hoyts cinema. Key works for Leopard Controls will involve modifications to the existing Central Energy Plant, installation of new air handling units, and the creation of ventilation systems for multi-level car parks and loading docks. This comprehensive redevelopment is poised to significantly elevate the shopping experience in Karrinyup while incorporating modern sustainability features.
