Leopard Controls was awarded the mechanical electrical installation and BMS Turnkey Control Panel for the Running with Thieves Brewery project, working in conjunction with Flying Foam. The client provided dedicated power supplies to brewery sub-boards and control panels, all originating from the Brewery Distribution Board (BDB). Key sub-boards and control panels include the Brewhouse Control Board (BHCB) located under the brewhouse, the RO/Glycol Tank (ROGT) Board in the RO Plant Room, the Grain Handling Control Board (GHCB) in the Mill Room, and the Cellar Control Panel (CCP) in the Lab.
Power supplies were terminated at lockable IP54 isolators with RCD protection for both equipment and boards, with terminations handled by the BIC. The project’s complex scope also required integration between various components such as brewhouse pumps, grain handling augers, and glycol circulation systems. The brewhouse, grain handling, and RO/glycol systems were interconnected to ensure efficient operation, with manual overrides and programmable controls for precision brewing.
The entire installation adhered to safety and operational standards, including explosion-proof equipment in hazardous environments like the Mill Room. Leopard Controls’ turnkey solutions ensure efficient power distribution, system integration, and scalability for future expansions.
