Wheatstone

The Project

The Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project is one of Australia’s largest resource projects. Located at Ashburton North, 12 kilometres west of Onslow in Western Australia. The initial phase of the project will consist of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million tonnes per annum along with a domestic gas plant.

Eighty percent of the Wheatstone Project’s foundation capacity will be fed with natural gas from the Wheatstone and Iago fields, which are operated by Chevron Australia in joint venture with Australian subsidiaries of Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) and Kyushu Electric Power Company, together with PE Wheatstone Pty Ltd (part owned by TEPCO).

Our Contribution

Our contribution to this prestige development includes;

  • Stage 1- 5000 man Accommodation Village
  • Stage 2 – Major Operations Buildings, LNG Trains, Chemical Lab, Maintenance Building, Warehousing and numerous other buildings which are integral to the overall operations.

Our Solution

The project consists of twenty six (26) main mechanical services switchboards (MSSB) including six (6) form 4 cubicalized MSB’s:

  • Mechanical Electrical Installation
  • Revit Drawing Design and Submissions
  • 1000 BMS Points
  • Open Systems BMS Front End
