Carousel Shopping Centre

In 2017, Leopard Controls was awarded the mechanical, electrical, and Building Management System (BMS) portion of Westfield Carousel’s $350 million redevelopment project. This expansion transformed the Cannington shopping centre into the largest in Western Australia, adding significant retail space, a new David Jones anchor store, and an open-air lifestyle and leisure precinct. Leopard Controls’ work involved integrating advanced HVAC control systems, lighting control, and power monitoring, ensuring efficient operation of the newly refurbished 130,300 square-metre space. The project also included upgrades to critical systems supporting new office space, restaurants, and entertainment facilities, enhancing Westfield Carousel’s role as a major retail and community hub.
