In 2020, Leopard Controls was awarded the mechanical, electrical, and BMS portion of the Fremantle Kings Square redevelopment, now known as the Walyalup Civic Centre. This landmark project, designed by Kerry Hill Architects, includes a 5-storey community hub with cafés, retail tenancies, a modern library, and offices, alongside the heritage-listed Fremantle Town Hall. Leopard Controls’ contribution to this development focused on integrating sustainable systems, including an automated facade to harness Fremantle’s sea breezes. The project also featured advanced building management systems (BMS) to ensure operational efficiency and comfort, supporting the centre’s commitment to accessibility and sustainability.
